Booking Policy

Forest & Lake Cottages and  Bed & Breakfast does not process any deposit amount at time of booking. 

Because of the rising merchant fees on credit card transactions, we would appreciate cash or debit card settlement on arrival or departure. We thank you in advance for helping us hold our rates and providing the best possible value to you our guest. 

We do have the ability to process Visa or MC if you require. A valid credit card number is required to confirm your reservation.  

Please note:

Check in time: 3.00 pm till 08.00 pm - Check out 10 am.

Breakfast B & B Guests 8 until 9 am and Cottage guests 8 until 10.30 am.

No shows will be charged the full amount of the reservation.

Securing your reservation with a credit card means you accept the terms of our Cancellation Policy.

Cancellations: Full refund after booking if arrival date is still 14 days away - 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before arrival date. No refund for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.

Cottages:  

• Cigarette smoking is not permitted in the cottages.  It is permitted in the screen porch provided that you keep the door to the cottage closed to keep the smoke out.  Please be respectful of your cigarette butts and use the ashtray provided in the screened porch.  Please do not throw butts on the ground.
• Any smoking in the cottage leaving smoke odours will result in additional cleaning charges.

Please help us to provide a clean environment for guest following you into the cottage.

Bed & Breakfast

• Smoking is not permitted in any of the rooms or in the house or Gazebo.  
• Smoking is permitted on the front deck and ashtrays are provided.
• Any smoking in the B&B  will result in additional cleaning charges.

We are happy to welcome pets to our one and two bedroom cottages only.  But we do have a few rules due to bad past experiences.  We love dogs and cats and want to provide pet friendly accommodation for your pet.  Pets like vacation too!  We only ask that you respect just a few things to make your stay and the stay of the next guest a pleasant one. We charge a one time fee of $35 plus tax upon arrival.

1. Pets are not allowed on the furniture or beds.  Please bring a sleeping blanket and kennel for your pet.
2. Dogs are not allowed to be left alone in the cottage.  In strange places they tend to bark and disturb other guests.  If it is absolutely necessary please check with us first.
3. Please pick up after your dog.  Doggy do bags are provided in the cottages.
4. Please keep your dog on a leash.  Other dogs may be around, there are bunnies and foxes that we don't want them chasing. B respectful that some children and adults are afraid of dogs.
5. If your dog goes swimming in the lake make sure they are cleaned and dried before entering back into the cottage.
6. If there is extra cleaning required as a result of your pet you will be charged a cleaning fee.
